OMG23 is the Omnicom Media Group agency dedicated to Walt Disney Studios, Disney+ and Disney’s multiple television networks. At OMG23, we have the privilege of partnering with Disney on the planning, buying and implementation of its integrated ad campaigns for some of the entertainment industry’s most iconic brands. Our Walt Disney Studios team works on titles that include a wide variety of blockbuster films distributed under the Walt Disney Studios, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century, and Searchlight banners. Our Disney Entertainment TV teams work on tune in and streaming for networks including ABC, ABC News, Disney Channels, Freeform, National Geographic and FX. We live movies and TV. THE JOB 

Associate Directors are responsible for elevating the growth and performance of our Creative Management team. The ADs contribute structure to our team’s processes and innovation to Disney’s digital partnerships. The ADs orchestrate cross-functional solutions with external publishers and tech vendors, as well as internal groups. Ideal candidates have 4-5 years of experience producing creative for a wide variety of digital formats and platforms. He or she have also exhibited 2-3 years of effective team leadership and exceptional client service.  


Responsibilities include:  

  • Managing communication and relationships with Disney Marketing and Media clients  

  • Lead weekly calls to share production updates  

  • Anticipate and adapt to changing client needs 

  • Lead conversations regarding escalated issues or concerns  

  • Developing continued growth for Supervisors, Project Managers and Coordinators 

  • Manage team bandwidth and campaign assignments  

  • Train new hires and provide frequent feedback 

  • Motivate employees and set clear expectations for performance  

  • Monitoring campaign deliverables and timelines   

  • Check quality and accuracy of documents (Specs Docs, Trafficking Sheets, Video Rotations, Screenshot Decks) 

  • Review creative and make suggestions for optimization 

  • Anticipate production roadblocks and guide the Supervisor/Project Managers towards any course correction 

  • Defining and refining process  

  • Create, document and improve efficiency of team processes 

  • Collaborate with other internal teams to cross-train employees 

  • Address concerns with external groups and propose mutually beneficial solutions 

  • Driving effective decision-making in creative conversations 

  • Advise on technical or creative feasibility of client requests 

  • Provide POV on new partner integrations or ad opportunities 

  • Work with publishers and tech vendors to deliver 1st to market ad opportunities 

  • Contribute ideas to marketing brainstorms and pitch concepts to clients 

  • Utilize previous campaign experience and data to establish best practices 

  • Understand how creative decisions can affect other teams (Planning, AdOps, Analytics, Search and Social) and proactively communicate necessary adjustments 

YOU 

We encourage you to apply if the below describes your experience and talents:  

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Communications, Marketing or Advertising) 

  • 4-5 years of experience in digital media/marketing; 2-3 years managing direct reports 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop 

  • Knowledge of digital media ad serving, measurement tools and metrics 

  • Google Campaign Manager and Studio 

  • Brand safety, viewability and fraud  

  • Conversion tracking and attribution  

  • Video tag types 

  • Patient and humble leader 

  • You can keep a detailed pulse on multiple projects while also allowing Project Managers to have autonomy and independence  

  • You enjoy teaching others and can work with a variety of learning styles  

  • You consider multiple perspectives when making decisions, not just your own 

  • You easily give praise and are sensitive in delivering constructive feedback 

  • Clear and articulate communicator with ability to direct and coach team members 

  • Proactive and solution-focused 

  • Demonstrated ability to articulate and communicate clearly when participating in internal and client-facing meetings 

  • You plan for the future and can accurately forecast project timelines  

  • Ability to be agile and adaptable within a quick turnaround business environment 

  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving and critical thinking 

  • Detail-oriented 

  • You can easily extract errors or outliers in extensive data sets   

  • You have been responsible for catching typos or grammatical errors 

  • You are an intent listener and provide thorough paper trails of any conversation 

  • Creative thinker 

  • You have an eye for design and improving a user’s digital experience  

  • Interested in moviegoers and what motivates them to see our films   

  • Cognizant of trends in entertainment, culture, media and advertising 

  • Clear and concise communicator  

  • Confidently lead internal and external meetings/presentations  

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage an audience and deliver a seamless and effective narrative 

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal 

  • Demonstrate tact when delivering unpleasant news  

  • Excellent ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely 

This is a hybrid role based in Burbank, CA.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$95,000—$120,000 USD
