UNFOLD is seeking a talented and proven SOCIAL EDITOR to join our team.
The Social Editor specializes in transforming creative concepts into dynamic, social-forward content, utilizing platform-specific styles, transitions, and audio to produce engaging videos that capture the authenticity and energy of what works on social, with a specific focus on TikTok.
Responsibilities:
Edit and produce TikTok videos from ideated concepts, employing platform-specific editing techniques.
Work closely with the creative team to ensure the final edits align with the original vision and meet our standards.
Stay ahead of TikTok editing trends and techniques, continuously experimenting with new styles to keep our content fresh and engaging.
Analyze performance metrics to understand what works and apply these insights to future edits.
Skills:
Proven experience in editing, with a portfolio demonstrating proficiency in TikTok-style edits and content creation.
Expertise in video editing software and apps commonly used for TikTok content production.
Creative and technical editing skills, with an eye for timing, pacing, and storytelling in a fast-paced social context.
Strong collaborative skills, capable of working closely with creative leadership to bring concepts to life.
You have a strong instincts for creative informed by an emotional hook.
You love movies, have an understanding of niche audiences, and can translate your love and understanding into engaging creative.
You care more about engagement than impressions.
