Equalpride / Advocate Channel is seeking a meticulous and experienced Finishing Producer and Metadata Specialist to ensure the successful delivery of all required files to our streaming and distribution partners, including XML text files. This role will work closely with producers, editors, and our partners to manage the finishing and delivery processes for two series: a ten-episode series and a three-episode series. The Finishing Producer and Metadata Specialist will also train the Advocate Channel team on future content delivery and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Finishing Production:
● Work closely with the production team to ensure the successful finishing and delivery of promos.
● Content tagging.
● QC screening of approval files before sending to clients and final spots.
● Facilitate the final delivery of approved spots after QC.
● Metadata Management:
● Catalog and curate content, ensuring accuracy and consistency of
metadata elements.
● Provide technical support for metadata-related projects.
● Monitor and manage metadata quality assurance activities.
● Develop and maintain metadata standards in accordance with industry
best practices.
● Analyze existing metadata standards and provide recommendations for
improvement.
● Train and mentor staff on metadata standards and principles.
Qualifications:
● Technical proficiency in managing and delivering content to various distribution platforms.
● Experience in supervising post-production processes.
● Strong understanding of metadata standards and best practices in the industry.
Preferred Experience:
● Prior experience working with streaming partners in the entertainment industry.
● Experience in quality control (QC) processes for final content delivery. How to Apply:
