Title Marketing Lead, Scripted - Apple TV+ (Hybrid - On-site)​


Summary:

Apple TV+ is seeking an experienced, Entertainment marketer with a track record of building world-class campaigns to provide maternity leave coverage for our scripted series team. This role will own day-to-day responsibilities for leading the global launch campaigns of our upcoming series centered specifically around drama and sci-fi content verticals. This role is based in Apple’s Culver City office. You’ve been responsible for marketing high-profile, entertainment properties, crafting a clear and distinctive show positioning rooted in a meaningful consumer insight, creative strategy and informed distribution approach. A natural leader, you listen and collaborate with internal departments/teams to align early on consumer-driven strategies and business-minded marketing goals. Your love for all things Entertainment — pop culture, social and digital trends, music, film and of course, television, pushes you to thrive in a quick moving environment and be an excellent teammate who is focused on doing what is right for the business and campaign before what is easy.


Key Qualifications:

  • Strong consumer marketing experience in media / entertainment (at minimum, 10 years) with direct responsibility for launching original content.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience running creatively led 360-campaigns leveraging various distribution levers - paid, organic, and earned to deliver impactful results.

  • Marketing subject matter expertise across the following:

  • Developing strategy, positioning and target audiences at scale

  • Multi-disciplinary, cross-functional collaboration and management

  • Digital and Social team partnership spanning content creation, community and audience development

  • Brand partnerships, promotions, and activations with internal teams and/or third parties

  • Media mix decisioning, asset budgeting and forecasting, return on investment

  • (ROI) analysis, and broader goals / measurement tracking

  • Experience partnering directly with producers, filmmakers, talent, representation and creators on strategy, approach and campaign work.

  • Stellar executive written and verbal communication skills. Able to present ideas simply consolidating and representing a range of partner perspectives.

  • Brings a highly strategic and analytical approach to decisions and problem-solving.

  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, project management and multi-tasking skills with proven attention to detail.

  • Inventive self starter, with an entrepreneurial mind-set who leads by doing.


Description:

  • Lead and support internal campaign partners in developing in-depth marketing strategy for scripted series including positioning, audience targeting, comms strategies, research/cultural analysis; socialize strategy and creative output with cross-functional teams as well as with key stakeholders including executive teams, development, producers/creators and filmmakers.

  • Assist in managing cross-functional team planning to develop and execute 360 campaigns, including leading key meetings, developing campaign recaps and updates, and using project documents, such as marketing trackers, timelines, status reports, budget review, etc. to ensure execution against goals.

  • Work in partnership with creative teams on development of campaign creative suite and oversee collaborative internal and external partner execution of multi-media content assets that extend the show across paid/organic initiatives, ensuring materials are aligned to show positioning and brand, and that creative is consistent across all consumer touch points.

  • Liaise with media, social and PR teams to develop brand and performance driven plans that effectively promote content.• Prioritize resources and work outputs and determine key deadlines, and deliverables requirements, work back schedules to build and communicate realistic timelines for execution.

Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent. MBA or relevant graduate work a plus.

  • Business Day Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
