Position Overview

 

We are seeking an experienced, driven Publicist to join our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned PR professional with a strong background in entertainment publicity who thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. The Publicist will lead and execute strategic press campaigns, manage client relationships and oversee all aspects of media outreach and event execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, well-connected and confident navigating high-pressure, high-visibility moments. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Press Strategy & Media Relations:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive publicity strategies for film, television, award and corporate campaigns.

  • Pitch and secure press across digital, broadcast, print and podcast platforms.

  • Maintain and leverage strong relationships with editors, producers, bookers and journalists.

  • Draft press materials including press releases, media alerts, pitches, bios and talking points.

  • Client & Campaign Management:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic counsel and day-to-day campaign oversight.

  • Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and evolving priorities.

  • Prepare clients for interviews, appearances and press opportunities.

  • Press Days, Junkets & Events:

  • Coordinate and oversee press days, junkets, screenings, premieres and panel discussions from planning through execution.

  • Manage logistics including schedules, media lists, briefing materials and on-site press flow.

  • Work red carpets and live events, ensuring seamless execution and professional client representation.

  • Awards & Festival Support:

  • Assist with awards campaigns and festival launches including press outreach, scheduling and on-site coordination.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and strategy across platforms.

  • Reporting & Administration:

  • Track coverage, compile press reports and analyze campaign performance.

  • Maintain organized media lists, schedules and campaign documentation.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in entertainment publicity, PR or a related field.

  • Proven track record of successfully pitching and securing press.

  • Extensive experience coordinating press days, red carpets, junkets and live events.

  • Strong media relationships across entertainment, culture and lifestyle outlets.

  • Exceptional writing, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to thrive under pressure.

  • Professional judgment, discretion, emotional intelligence, and positive attitude.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, social media, and media tracking tools.

  • A genuine passion for entertainment, media and public relations.
