ROLE OVERVIEW
PPC Creative Limited is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Offline Editor to join our dynamic post-production team in Beverly Hills. As a Senior Editor, you’ll be at the forefront of crafting award-winning editorial content for films, broadcast, and digital platforms. This role demands exceptional technical ability, a strong sense of storytelling, and the ability to collaborate with clients, directors, and producers in a fast-paced, creative environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Edit trailers, promos, TV spots, and featurettes, transforming raw footage into compelling and engaging content.
• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and clients to understand their vision and incorporate feedback as needed.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in editing styles, storytelling techniques, and media formats.
• Mentor editors and contribute to a creative, collaborative team environment.
• Ensure tight storytelling, impactful pacing, and attention to detail throughout the editorial process.
• Maintain project organization and collaborate with the post-production team to support smooth transitions between editing stages.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and manage media, including formatting, exporting, and delivering files.
• Present offline edits to clients and make revisions while maintaining the creative vision.
• Provide creative guidance to clients and suggest solutions for improving story flow and impact.
• Work with assistant editors and other post-production staff to ensure quality and consistency.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to shape final products.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years of professional editing experience, with a focus on feature film and series trailers, TV spots, promos, sizzle reels and featurettes.
• 5+ years of experience in a post-production or media agency environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of TV spots, trailers, and branded content.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid.
• Solid understanding of offline-to-online workflows, media management, and project preparation. • Experience with sound design, music integration, and placeholder graphics.
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create captivating, emotionally resonant scripts and edits.
• Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and timing, particularly for short-form content.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with clients and creative teams.
• Proactive problem-solving ability and adaptability in a client-facing environment.
• Basic understanding of color grading, VFX, and motion graphics integration.
• Passion for creativity, innovation, and pushing boundaries in post-production editing.
This position is based in our LA head office, and the salary rate for this role is up to $57 to $83 per hour. The rate will vary depending on the candidates’ skills and experience.
