Assistant Editor - Revolve
Entertainment AV Agency is currently looking for a creative, ambitious, self-starter and highly motivated Assistant Editor who loves the art of storytelling. The right candidate should be fluent in Adobe Premiere, and working knowledge of AVID, be able to assist editors and producers with managing media, organizing projects, creating finishing assets, watch a film/show select clips, and add music cues. Having technical knowledge of computers and the ability of assessing and fixing minor problem is a plus.

Position Responsibilities:
Creative Editorial
Media prep for offline editorial
Image sourcing for pitch/sizzle videos
Work within established organization of folder structures, proper naming schemes, etc. of all media
Prepping all materials for final online, including sequence cleanup, picture prep / audio OMF, etc.
File compression and uploading material for review via CMS and ftps
Requirements:
1-3 Years of Theatrical or Broadcast Assistant Editorial Experience Required
Extensive knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Premiere, Compression software
Understanding of HD/SD formats, frame rates, conversions, & Codecs
Ability to communicate successfully with others/Ability to prioritize, juggle multiple tasks
Interest in latest editing software & related hardware, graphics & design and other related software
Film School, a plus
