Art Director (Social) - MOCEAN
Description
MOCEAN is looking for an Art Director to join our Social and Brand division. This position will work across a variety of disciplines to ideate, develop, and create content across a variety of platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the social space, enjoys bringing to life fresh concepts, and has the desire to continually redefine and reimagine the possibilities of the work created. The Art Director will have the vision to create big-picture plans and the technical expertise to execute them flawlessly. This role is for someone ready to take the next step and help shape a growing department.
Responsibilities
Develop and craft social campaigns for major entertainment properties
Conceptualize and bring to life social-forward tactics
Develop and maintain the look and feel for social accounts and entertainment properties, following brand style guides
Collaborate with social, strategy, production and editorial teams daily
Take ownership and build dynamic presentation decks for campaigns and pitches that take clients on a visual journey
Present work to clients regularly to foster and build a creative partnership
Provide direction to designers, editors, and animators to help produce work at the highest quality
Oversee creative on multiple projects at any given time
Requirements and Preferences
Availability to work during West coast business hours - no exceptions
Experience working on social entertainment campaigns
5+ years designing and setting looks for campaigns (agency experience a plus)
4+ years graphic design and art direction
Strong organizational and teamwork skills, be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
Social-forward campaign work in your portfolio
Solid understanding of social media trends
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Suite
